The Story
The TP-Link Deco BE85 BE22000 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh system designed to deliver ultra-fast and reliable internet coverage across large homes. With speeds up to 22,000 Mbps and coverage of up to 14,000 sq. ft. with two units, it supports demanding tasks such as 8K streaming, gaming, and remote work without dead zones.
Powered by Wi-Fi 7 technology, the system operates on dedicated 6GHz, 5GHz, and 2.4GHz bands to minimise congestion and allocate bandwidth intelligently. Each unit features 8 internal antennas, a 10 Gigabit RJ45/SFP+ combo port, a 10 Gigabit port, two 2.5 Gigabit ports, and a USB 3.0 port, providing versatile wired connectivity.
Setup and management are handled through the Deco app, which includes parental controls, antivirus, QoS, and real-time threat detection via TP-Link HomeShield. The system supports WPA3 encryption, AI Mesh, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, MLO, and 4K-QAM for enhanced performance and security.
